Issue: CERTAIN VEHICLES FAIL TO COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF FEDERAL MOTOR VEHICLE SAFETY STANDARD NO. 121, "AIR BRAKE SYSTEMS (ABS)." THE INDICATOR LIGHT THAT NOTIFIES THE DRIVER OF A MALFUNCTION IN THE TRAILER ABS WAS NOT INSTALLED AS REQUIRED.
Risk: THE DRIVER MAY NOT BE AWARE OF THE MALFUNCTION THAT EXISTS IN THE ABS TRAILER BRAKE SYSTEM.
