Risk: The park brake light may indicate that the park brake is applied when it is not, possibly resulting in a vehicle roll away and increasing the risk of a crash.
Fix: Dealers will inspect and replace the brake pressure switch as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed March 11, 2024. Owners may contact Mack customer service at 1-800-866-1177. Mack's number for this recall is SC0460.
Issue: Mack Trucks, Inc. (Mack) is recalling certain 2024 MD trucks. The steering wheel attachment bolt may loosen and separate from the steering shaft, causing the steering wheel to detach.
