Issue: Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2023 E450 vehicles. The bolt that secures the rear axle rotor to the wheel-hub may be improperly tightened, possibly resulting in wheel separation.

Risk: Wheel separation from the vehicle increases the risk of a crash.

Fix: Dealers will inspect the rear axle serial number, and if necessary, remove and inspect the rear axle rotor and hub assembly. If any bolts are found to be loose, the rotor and hub assembly will be replaced. Repairs will be performed free of charge.
