Overview
the carrier LLC is hiring dependable Class A CDL company drivers for flatbed work based out of Kansas City, MO. Drivers operate assigned sleeper trucks and are home every weekend.
This is a company driver position. There is no lease-on and no owner-operator package. Freight is construction materials and equipment on flatbed. The driver straps and secures the load only. You do not load or unload the freight.
Work starts in Kansas City, Missouri. If you are not already in the area, we will fly you to the start location if needed. Pay is starts at $1,500 per week depending on the week and the work. Pay details are reviewed by phone.
Employment is contingent on a background check. No pets. No riders.
Responsibilities
Operate a Class A sleeper truck on flatbed routes starting in Kansas City, MO
Be home every weekend
Strap and secure construction materials and equipment to company and DOT standards
Do not load or unload freight
Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
Keep accurate logs, inspections, and delivery records
Follow all traffic laws, HOS rules, and company safety policies
Stay in contact with dispatch on schedule, delays, and any issues on the road
Deliver loads on time and in a professional manner
Requirements
Valid Class A CDL
21 years or older
Safe driving record
Flatbed or tractor-trailer experience preferred
Ability to strap and secure a flatbed load
Dependable, professional, and drug-free
Able to start in Kansas City, MO, or willing to fly in (flight provided if needed)
Must pass a background check
No pets or riders
