About the job
the carrier is an asset-free intermodal drayage carrier contracting with owner-operators in the Dallas/Fort Worth market. Work is container drayage out of the Alliance, Wilmer, and Mesquite rail ramps - drop and hook, home daily, no forced dispatch. Owner-operators run under an independent contractor operating agreement (49 CFR Part 376) and must provide their own tractor; chassis are provided on the load. Gross pay typically runs $2,800-$3,500 per week. Candidates need a Class A CDL, TWIC card, clean MVR/PSP, and intermodal or port drayage experience preferred.
